Indiana State Museum
Whether you’re a rockhound, a fossil enthusiast or you just love crystals and gems, there is something exciting for everyone to discover. This annual program features three days and three floors of rock, mineral and fossil vendors along with hands-on activities and community partner displays for visitors to enjoy. Meet GeoFest sponsor Irving Materials, Inc., to do some special make-and-takes and check out a real cement truck!
Interested in studying geology or environmental science? Take a walk over to IU Indianapolis Department of Earth Sciences for a guided tour of research laboratories.
Tour available on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. Meet at the IU Indianapolis table and walk over to campus. Tours will last about an hour, plus travel time to the campus.
Price: Included with museum admission; $2/Access Pass member*; $5/Indiana college student with ID*; $7/BSA and Girl Scouts and their families*Purchase admission
