Join a Limberlost naturalist for a hike along the Deacon’s Trail in the Limberlost Swamp Nature Preserve. Discover the native flora and fauna of the largest Limberlost Conservation Area Nature Preserves and learn how Gene Stratton-Porter used this area in her novel Freckles and her nature book Moths of the Limberlost. Find out about the destruction of the swamp and its re-birth, too. Hike is subject to cancellation in the event of adverse weather conditions.
