Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

Uncover new knowledge about the plants and animals living in the Music of the Wild Nature Preserve and the Bird Sanctuary preserves as well as the ecology of the area and the Limberlost Creek which flows through it. Learn the history of the site and how Gene Stratton-Porter wrote about this area in her nature book Music of the Wild. Participants will meet at the Limberlost State Historic Site and caravan approximately 1.7 miles. Hike is subject to cancellation in the event of adverse weather conditions.
