“Rhythms of Resilience” presented by 22StarvingArtist

School groups in K-12 are invited to join us during Black History Month for a rhythmic journey that honors the vibrant tapestry of African diasporic cultures. “Rhythms of Resilience” invites visitors and schools to experience the heartbeat of Black history through the universal language of drumming.

In this immersive drum circle, participants will engage with the rich rhythms that have played a pivotal role in African and African American history. Led by experienced facilitator Elijah Stephen, this experience is not just a celebration of music; it’s a tribute to resilience, strength, and the cultural legacy that continues to shape our world.

Sessions will take place at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. with 25 participants per session.
