Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites

The Whitewater Canal was built for boats and horses, but this man-made river has become home to many types of wildlife including ducks, fish, beavers and many others. Join naturalist Curt Burnette from Limberlost State Historic Site for an interactive session to learn about wildlife and explore the canal’s plants and animals. In light of the upcoming total solar event on April 8, we will also discover how animals react during eclipses! Registration required by April 5.
