Reciprocal Membership Programs

The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites is a member of the following reciprocal programs:

Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) Passport Program
- https://www.astc.org/membership/find-an-astc-member/passport/
- Reciprocal benefits do not extend to science centers and museums located within a 90-mile radius of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites or within a 90-mile radius of your residence.
North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association
- https://narmassociation.org/
- Reciprocal benefits do not extend to NARM-affiliated organizations within 15 miles of the Indiana State Museum.

We recommend you contact the science center or cultural organization you intend to visit to confirm what reciprocal benefits you will receive.

Institutions you visit will be looking for the ASTC and NARM logos to utilize the reciprocal benefits. The reciprocal logos are available on your digital card.

Download Card

You will get the most from your membership by downloading the eMembership Card app to your smartphone. Find the app by clicking on the icon below that works for your phone.
Select “Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites” tile and touch Find My Membership Cards
Enter your phone number/membership number and last name
Select “Download My cards” and access your cards in the app
IMAX® and parking vouchers are available in the app
Add to Apple or Google Wallet (Optional)

To utilize your membership benefits, show your digital card at ISMHS facilities.

Need to update your information? Use the Member Services Form (indianamuseum.org/member-services-form/) to update your membership information , request a download link, or send us a message.

Need to update your digital card after renewing your membership? Use “Find My Membership Cards” on the eMembership card app to download your updated card.

More than one adult on the membership? Each adult on the membership can download their card using the process above.

Gift a Membership

Love being a member so much you want to purchase for someone else? That’s great! Gift memberships can be purchased online. When purchasing the membership, be sure to enter the recipient of the gift in the recipient information box, then use your own information in the billing section. Be sure to answer the question indicating if you’d like the membership cards emailed to the recipient or to you.

Gift memberships are valid immediately upon purchase
Purchase a gift membership online by checking the gift box on the purchase page
Provide your recipient’s email, and they will receive emails right away informing them of your gift and instructions for downloading eMembership cards.
If your gift is a surprise, provide YOUR email of the recipient’s. Digital materials will be sent to you, for forwarding or printing out at your convenience.

Q: How do I update my contact information?
A: Use this form to send the changes and we’ll make the updates!

Q: What if I want to visit, but don’t have my card yet?
A: We’ve got you covered! Once you have purchased your membership, you can visit any of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites. Simply check-in at the admissions desk and our staff will happily confirm your membership.

Q: How will I receive my digital membership card?
A: You’re welcome to download the eMembership card app using the App Store that works with your phone. You will also receive an email from [email protected] with a link to download your digital membership cards and vouchers. Be sure to monitor your regular inbox and spam/junk folder for the email invitation.

Q: How do I log into my account for discounts on select programs?
A: Go to the main header at indianamuseum.org and click the words “Buy museum tickets”. Then, click “SIGN IN” at the top right corner of the page. A window will open where you can enter your email and password. If you’re logging into your account for the first time, select “Click here to register”. When creating your account be sure to enter the email you provided when you signed up to be a member.
