Critical Conversations on Race and Major Taylor

Join the Indiana State Museum in partnership with Spirit & Place as we discuss race, racism, and the resulting impact it had on Major Taylor. These dialogues provide a means of getting comfortable talking about uncomfortable histories. Please note that we will be reviewing and reading difficult materials that reflect the times in which Major Taylor lived. Many of these materials may be considered offensive. Participants must register by noon the day of the event.

Attendees will be given a voucher to visit the Indiana State Museum and Major Taylor: Fastest Cyclist in the World exhibit for FREE (free parking is also included).

Price: This is a free program

Location: Indiana State Museum, 650 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204
