Women like Catharine Coffin were key to aiding freedom–seekers on the Underground Railroad. She opened her home, coordinated resources and was vocal in her support of the people who were making this journey north. Yet, with this understanding, there is so much to learn about Catharine’s experience. Site Manager Joanna Hahn will speak on her research about Catharine and her Underground Railroad work. Registration required by March 20. Recommended for ages 9+.
